Please be advised that the County of Perth will be undertaking the rehabilitation or replacement of three concrete culverts on Perth Road 107 during the summer of 2012.The work will involve:
- The repair of culvert #107053, known as the Avon River culvert, located on Road 107 at the north end of Shakespeare. This culvert will have extensive concrete repairs done, and will be lengthened by 3m on both ends.
- The repair of culvert #107146, located in the settlement of Hamstead.
- The removal and replacement of culvert #107101, known as the Silver Creek culvert, located on Road 107 just south of Amulree. This culvert has badly deteriorated, and will be completely replaced.
This work will begin in early summer 2012, and will continue for 2-3 months. Due to the extensive work at culverts #107053 and #107101, road closures and detours will be in effect.
