In August of 2008, John Wilkinson, MPP for Perth-Wellington announced, that the Province is investing $1,152,500 to help the County and its partners implement a community revitalization project to promote economic growth, attract investment and provide support to local businesses. The funds will be matched by the eight project partners, for a total of $2,305,000 to be spent over the next three years.
