STRATFORD- December 10 2010 marks the 10th anniversary since the county of Perth assumed responsibility for running Emergency Medical Services for the county of Perth and its separate municipalities within.
To mark this occasion the County of Perth will be hosting an open house for dignitaries, staff as well as the public that will be hosted at the County of Perth administration and county courthouse building on December 16 2010. The open house will take place in the County Council chambers,
“The provincial download of Paramedics to the county has been the best thing to ever happen to our community” beamed Jeff Sager a Perth County Platoon Commander. “Prior to the download the County we had three separate ambulance services that had poor response times and no coverage for areas like Milverton or Mitchell, now all of the residence in Perth County have equal access to top notch pre-hospital care.” stated Mr. Sager.
